From August 22nd to 24th, in preparation for the opening of the 12th National Paralympic Games and the 9th Special Olympics (hereinafter referred to as the "Paralympic Games") in Guangzhou on December 8th, the Guangzhou Disabled Persons' Federation carried out a promotional activity to create an atmosphere for the 9th Guangzhou Elderly Expo Paralympic Games during the 33rd Guangzhou Expo. The exhibition area is located in the prominent area of Hall 11.2, Zone B, China Import and Export Commodity Trading Exhibition Center of the 9th Guangzhou International Import and Export Fair. Through various forms such as graphics, videos, check ins, charity sales, calligraphy, and experiences, it promotes the Paralympic Games to exhibitors, buyers, and audiences from all over the country. Create a warm atmosphere of public attention to the disabled special Olympics in advance.

This atmosphere building activity has set up three major activity areas: promotion of the Paralympic Games, cultural and creative charity sales, and interactive experiences. The event promotion area introduces the development history of the Paralympic Games, the scale of this event, the competition projects, the number of participants, and the rules and characteristics of each event to the audience through illustrated display boards. Through videos, graphics, and other forms, it comprehensively displays the exciting moments of disabled athletes' training and competition, showcasing their spirit of self-improvement and tenacious struggle.

The cultural and creative charity sale area sets up handmade exhibition booths to showcase to the audience the meticulously created derivative paper paintings, pottery, fabrics, and other works by students from the Disabled Employment Training Center, Corning Farm, various district comprehensive service centers, Kangyuan Guidance Center, and Kangyuan Work Therapy Station. Through interactive communication, the public can become familiar with and understand the special group of disabled people, and deeply experience their ingenuity and wisdom.

Inviting renowned disabled calligraphers and painters to create calligraphy and painting works that embody the spirit of the Special Olympics for the Disabled, and painting them on site, allowing the audience to experience the strong foundation and exquisite skills of disabled artists firsthand.

The interactive experience area has set up disabled sports events such as blind gateball and dry land curling that allow the audience to directly participate. Through the playback of various cultural and sports activities videos for disabled people, promotional short videos of sign language dramas for welcoming disabled people, and original song MVs for preheating disabled people, a deep atmosphere of welcoming the "Disabled People's Special Olympics" is created.
